New Artwork at City Centre Mirdiff, Dubai

Hello art lovers! I’m thrilled to share my latest artistic endeavor: a series of acrylic paintings created for the Beverly Hills Polo Club shop. These pieces are currently on display at City Centre Mirdiff, and I’m incredibly excited to bring the dynamic energy of polo to a wider audience. This project has been a fantastic experience, and I’m eager to share the journey with you.

The inspiration for this series stems directly from the iconic sport of polo and the sophisticated aesthetic of the Beverly Hills Polo Club. I wanted to capture the power, grace, and intensity of the game, translating the movement of the horses and riders onto canvas. The vision was to create pieces that resonate with the brand’s elegance while conveying the thrilling action of the sport. I aimed to make the viewer feel like they get the vibes of Beverly Hills and Polo sport.

For this series, I worked exclusively with acrylic paints on canvas. Acrylics allowed me to build layers of color quickly and achieve the vibrant, dynamic effects I was aiming for. I focused on capturing the motion of the horses through fluid brushstrokes and carefully constructed compositions. I paid special attention to the lighting, using it to highlight the muscular forms of the horses and the swift movements of the riders. The challenge was to balance the detailed elements of the riders and horses with the overall sense of movement. I used a combination of layering and glazing to create depth and dimension. This series was a very energetic project.

I’m particularly proud of the way I’ve captured the sense of motion in these paintings. The fluid lines and dynamic compositions really bring the action to life. I also enjoyed experimenting with the color palette, using rich, saturated hues to convey the intensity of the sport. I think the way the light reflects off the horses is very effective. I am also very happy with the composition of the paintings, and how the eye moves through the canvas.
